Volunteers rock! We ask volunteers to perform three hours of work during the weekend, or its equivalent before the event.

UPDATE: Our volunteer slots are all full. We have established a waiting list; should any volunteers drop out, we’ll contact people on the waiting list and reimburse the difference in registration fees for those who step in to help out after registering at full price. Please send an e-mail to unholyharvest@yahoo.ca if you are interested in volunteering and we will contact you. We encourage people to register at full price to guarantee their spot. Don’t wait – we cap registration at 100 and we’re more than half-full already! Do not register or send payment at the volunteer price unless you have been in touch with us first!

An Unholy Harvest Scholarship Program

In an effort to make sure that An Unholy Harvest is accessible to people from a range of economic circumstances, we established a scholarship program in 2008. Up to four individuals will be awarded a scholarship, which covers the full registration cost for An Unholy Harvest.

How do I apply?

Applications may be submitted by filling out the Scholarship Application Form (downloadable below) and e-mailing it to unholyharvest@yahoo.ca. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until all scholarships have been awarded. We are not responsible for lost applications. We will inform applicants of their status within one week of receiving their application.

What will my scholarship cover?

At this stage, scholarships only cover the cost of conference registration. All other costs such as travel, hotel and food must be assumed by the attendee. We encourage scholarship recipients (like other attendees) to try to arrange for ride-shares, community housing or room-shares via the Unholy Harvest yahoo group, which all conference attendees will be invited to join upon their registration.

When will I know if get a scholarship?

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until all scholarships have been awarded. We are not responsible for lost applications. We will inform applicants of their status within one week of receiving their application.

Who will know I got a scholarship?

Only the two conference organizers, Jacqueline St-Urbain and Andrea Zanin, will know about your application. In every other respect, you will be registered and participate as any other conference attendee. Your application information and status will not be disclosed.

How can I help the scholarship program?

If donors wish to cover other expenses for scholarship recipients, such a travel, hotel, or a stipend, we welcome those contributions. Potential donors may e-mail us at unholyharvest@yahoo.ca to inquire.
