About An Unholy Harvest
An Unholy Harvest is an annual weekend-long leather/BDSM event for women and trans people held in Ottawa, Canada over Thanksgiving weekend every October.Co-founded in 2007 by Jacqueline St-Urbain and Andrea Zanin, An Unholy Harvest draws kinky queers from all over the country and beyond. Attendance is capped at 100 to encourage a friendly atmosphere, and our programming is designed to appeal to people with a wide range of interest and experience levels, from the fresh-faced novice to the seasoned pervert. An Unholy Harvest features three play parties, an auction, a full slate of workshops and panels, two lunchtime activities, a film screening, an evening activity, and a closing clean-up brunch. We place a strong emphasis on fostering Canadian community, and as such we are committed to encouraging new Canadian presenters to share their skills at Harvest as well as welcoming more experienced Canadian presenters. We keep our price low, provide a discount to our many volunteers, and offer a limited number of scholarships so as to remain accessible to people from a wide range of financial situations, and we are actively working to make Harvest more accessible for people with disabilities. Please check out our FAQ section for more details or read our testimonials page to see what past attendees have said about the event! An Unholy Harvest is open to women (including trans women) and trans men who respect and honour a women’s play space and who feel they have a place among leatherdykes.
